Recovery Readiness Checklist
The step-by-step recovery documentation process used in Weblagooncore client sessions.
Before your session
Gather your devices
Collect every hardware wallet you actively use. Note the make, model, and approximate purchase date. Charge devices beforehand — we verify firmware versions during the session.
Locate physical backups
Find each paper card, metal plate, or sealed envelope containing seed information. Do not open sealed backups prematurely. List where each backup is stored.
Identify your heir contact
Choose one person who should receive recovery instructions. Confirm their phone number and that they are willing to be named in the brief. They do not attend the session.
Review passphrase status
If any wallet uses a BIP39 passphrase (25th word), locate the separate passphrase record. Passphrase and seed must never be stored in the same envelope.
During your session
Wallet inventory
We catalogue each device, firmware version, and associated addresses. You enter all sensitive information by hand onto pre-printed forms.
Seed record completion
Under our guidance, you transcribe each backup onto archival record sheets. We verify word count, checksum validity, and cross-reference to the correct device.
Derivation path mapping
Account-level paths are documented and linked to physical backup locations. Multisig signers receive individual appendix sections.
Heir brief drafting
Plain-language recovery steps are written for your designated contact. Photographs of backup locations are included with your permission.
After your session
Binding and sealed copies
Your readiness file is bound within 48 hours. One tamper-evident sealed copy is prepared if requested. Courier delivery is available within South Korea.
Annual re-verification
Schedule a yearly check to confirm backups remain readable and paths are current. Firmware updates and new wallets should be documented promptly.
